Marcel Schneider founded "Marcel Schneider SA" in 1953, which was taken over in 1974 by his son Dany, who reorganised the company while continuing to respect its traditions. He rebranded it "Schneider Déménagements SA", before going on to become president of the Swiss Association of Removal Companies (CVSM). Some 30 years later, he in turn handed on the company to three young businessmen who had made a name for themselves in the removals sector.

These three men - Lenni Madussi, Stéphane Leriche and Reto Ackermann - brought in new ideas and modern marketing techniques to give the company a unique corporate image. September 2003 saw the launch of the company's international arm - "MS Move Management SA" - while Schneider Déménagements SA continues to specialise in local and national removals in Switzerland.
