- Military authorities / civil defence
- Insurance companies

- Think about things that you will need during the move and make sure they are readily accessible
- Remember to fill in any holes in the walls of your former home
- It is a good time to repair/clean the curtains that will go into your new home
- Take to chance to have your carpets cleaned, and have them delivered to your new address!
- Empty your letterbox, take off your name.
- Insurance: tell your insurance companies that you will be moving. Are your household and fire policies still up to date? Take the opportunity to check them.
